Well, I wouldn't say I'm back, but thought I should update my journal.

I am gradually going to be taking down some of my work, as I edit and re-edit, and submit it. As I submit my work to magazines/publishers, it's not right to have it online as well. It is going to be a very slow process, but there are a few competitions and things I'd like to use some of the bare bones here, for.

But what am I doing with myself?

At the moment, struggling through University. In my first year after my operations and am finding it extremely hard to cope. The lectures are tough to get to, my legs prevent me from leading a busy social life.

It's not all bad, though.

Anyone who knows my journal entries knows I am a big supporter of the Liberal Democrats. For now, I've got an internship in our Cardiff office, basically doing some basic work to learn how campaigns function. It's very interesting! I'm also back in the job I was in 2005/6, doing phone-canvassing. It's tough, but I am not moaning overmuch. I have a job, which is more than some people can say nowadays.

Maybe if I get a second wind I might start posting more here again. But then, deviantART was never much of a community for just writers. And whilst there are lots and lots of you I will always remember with fondness, I just no longer have the time to devote to this community.

It's not a leaving. Just a hello, and an update, and a warning about some of my work disappearing from here soon. Not that any of you will be that bothered, but you know what I mean! :D

Lots of love,
~Ol

Wow, You have a real talent for writing... This might be a retarded question but have you published any of it?

Hi. Sorry, I don't often check my devART account, and when I do I don't get notified about comments on my front page thing. But I noticed this one today, and wanted to say thanks. It means a lot when people say my writing is worthy of attention.

And no, I haven't published any of it yet, am afraid. Unless you count a poem in an anthology, and a short story in another. But they were done through competitions, rather than direct publishing. :)

Your most certainly welcome ^^, Well being honest I enjoy reading your writing style, and I have a weird habit of just thanking people for posting it.

Really?Which competitions? Thats quite a suprise, I really suggest publishing!!

Hey, thanks for the comment on 'Forget'.

Especially appreciate you taking the time to look at other stuff rather than just the Daily Deviation. Not everyone does that, so thanks.

Boog
Its no problem. It was very well written. I read the Daily and liked it, but thought I'd comment on something else. :)
